What better way to end the work week then with some puppy and cat cuteness?

What better way to start your Monday off with then with a cool video involving babies and roller skates set to “Rapper’s Delight”?

This is the cutest, most creative thing I’ve seen in awhile:

We had K’s dog, Hank with us on Saturday night. We’d had some friends over for dinner and K stopped in before heading out to a Rock game at the ACC. We kept Hank company while his Momma was out and about.

At the end of the night, after everyone had gone home, S and I sprawled on our living room furniture. She was on the sectional with the little head and I was in our big sofa chair with Hank. We weren’t sure what time K was coming home but figured we’d wait awhile. We stayed up until almost midnight but sleep overcame us. Poor Hank was falling asleep with his face resting on the arm of the chair. He was struggling to stay awake, ever hopeful that his Momma would be back soon.

We made our way to bed and brought Hank up with us. After some commotion between the kitty, the little head and Hank, we got everyone settled into bed. Hank’s a big dog, he’s a labrador-poodle mix and is quite tall. He’s not fat, but he is very lean. S tried to soothe Hank to sleep, she held him against her and rubbed his belly. She was a bit freaked out by him though. He is so quiet, he never barks and tends to just stare. S was like, “please don’t bite my face off, Hank.” After some more adjusting, Hank settled into a spot on the bed and we all fell asleep.

That interaction between the two of them reminded me of the video below. The first time I saw it, I thought the dog would bite the baby. Like S on Saturday night, I was pleasantly surprised.
