What are the straights playing at?

I’ve noticed something of late that I wanted to post on here to generate some discussion. It’s a crucial issue, so if you’re reading this while multi-tasking, stop whatever it is you’re doing and focus only on this post.
Question: What is it with couples with joint email address accounts?
My brother sent me an email recently and in the list of recipients, several of the addresses were the names of two people, couples mostly. Addresses like bobandsue[at]gmail[dot]com or thesmiths[at]rogers[dot]com. All of these joint-named emails were of straight couples; which got me thinking – do any of my gay contacts in my address book have joint-named addresses?
Filthy Commies

I will write a post about M’s visit, but there was an incident that happened on Saturday during M’s stay that deserves it’s own entry.
Let me back track a little…
Remember our Super Lesbionic neighbours? The ones we had over to the house and who fled right after S asked Maureen about whether she *gasp* had a baby with a man? S was right when she said she didn’t think we’d be seeing them again. It’s been months since they were over and they’ve not yet extended an invitation to their place – not that we’d want it.
In the months since that visit, the two Commie Bitches, especially Maureen, have gone out of their way to ignore S. For some odd reason, which I have yet to figure out, the women continue to talk to me. As a matter of fact, they’ll go to great lengths to chit chat with me.

Engaged volunteers needed!
I am looking for volunteers for a study of attitudes towards marriage and parenthood among engaged couples. The study consists of a 25-30 minute online survey. To qualify for the study, you must be 20-35 years old, live in the U.S., and plan to marry or have a commitment ceremony within the next 365 days. You and your romantic partner must not have children, and this must be the first marriage for both of you.
You can:
- Help a doctoral candidate;
- Increase the pool of scientific knowledge;
- Support research on marriage and families; and
- Spend some time thinking about your relationship!
I am working with Dr. Charlotte J. Patterson, a Professor of Psychology at the University of Virginia. This study has been approved by the University of Virginia Institutional Review Board #2009025800.
If you and/or your romantic partner are interested in participating or want further information, please email me at survey.couples@gmail.com. I will send you a link that you can use to access the study.
Thanks!

I get a fair bit of email; nothing too crazy but enough that I keep my spam filter well tuned. What does make it into my inbox, I can usually identify as spam by the subject line. I got one email today that made me think twice.
It was addressed to me and was quite long. I skimmed through it quickly and didn’t see any of the usual signs of spam. There was no mention of making my penis longer, no one looking to send me some jewels from Nigeria. The email was about a photographer called Alix Smith and it detailed the work she’s doing on a social action campaign. Smith is also participating in a program being run by Pepsi where they (Pepsi) are giving away grants for people with “good ideas.”
SVU Suckage
Mar 3rd
There’s been a bunch of talk online lately regarding tonight’s episode of Law & Order SVU. Kathy Griffin was guest starring as a militant lesbian activist. What caused the talk was the fact that Griffin and leading lady Mariska Hargitay were going to be sharing a kiss. This kiss.
Then, last week Kathy Griffin tweeted this:
