About the Girl

Ah yes, the always sought-after “who are you?” page.

Who am I? Well, let’s see, my nine to five is spent publishing web pages, and trying to convince my employer to bring the company website into the 2000s. My time away from the office is spent reading, writing, scouring the internet for interesting websites, playing with the cat, watching movies and all of the other ‘usual’ stuff one says. I’m also what’s known as a homosexual although I prefer the term dyke. I live in Canada’s most populous city, commonly referred to as the Centre of the Universe.

A lot of what I write ends up on this blog, but I’ve been known to churn out a story or two. Would I love to write professionally? Absolutely. Do I foresee that coming to fruition? Of course not. So I add my commentary and reflections on this, my own little piece of real estate in the blogosphere.

What else can I say about me? I enjoy my sleep, reading the weekend editions of the newspapers, a good cup of coffee, anything chocolate, playing poker and blackjack, spending time with my friends, cooking a good meal, drinking a good drink/beer, playing the God of War games and learning about new tech gadgets.

I’m working towards becoming a certified web developer and will eventually continue with the Bachelor of Commerce program I started many moons ago.

Things I don’t particularly like are shopping for clothes/shoes, February weather, eating food once it’s gone cold, bad (lesbian) fiction, penny pinching, shoveling snow, Windows Vista, rodents, long finger nails on men and people who chew loudly when eating.

Want to know anything else? Just ask.
